It was built for the people who carry that work: professors and the university accessibility teams supporting them, most of whom are doing it on top of their real job.

How it works

Deterministic checks mapped to WCAG 2.1 AA success criteria: 17 on a PowerPoint deck, 15 on a Word document. Free on every file, every time.

Recommend

AI drafts the fixes that need judgment: alt text, slide titles, heading structure, link text, reading order, color used as information, tables. Before anything runs, you see what AI will fix and what needs a human. The human-judgment items are flagged, listed, and free.

Remediate

Approved fixes are applied to your actual file. You get a scored report, the remediated document, and a Word to-do checklist on every plan.

The honesty is deliberate. Automated checking cannot catch everything, so Accessibro says exactly which items need a human and flags them for free instead of pretending a machine handled them. Your file lives only for the length of your working session on the server that processes it, it is deleted the moment that session ends, and it is never used to train AI.

Why we built it

Accessibro is our own thesis, pressure-tested. We tell clients that AI adoption works when you redesign the workflow around the capability instead of pasting a chatbot onto an unchanged process. So we took a real workflow that burns real hours in higher education, document and deck remediation, and rebuilt it end to end with AI in the loop: product decisions, code, tests, and launch. What we learned shipping it is in our workshops.
